Before I start this post, I just want to make it clear that it is not my intention to critique and/or discuss many elements of celebrity style. However, there will be times when I feel inclined to do so. Today is one of those times. I’ve been trying not to post about the 2012 Met Gala in an attempt to avoid redundancy (many other fashion blogs have been posting about this topic, as it’s one of the biggest Red Carpet events of the year). But I can’t get a few looks out of my head! I narrowed it down to my top three, below. Hope you enjoy!
People’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”, Beyonce Knowles in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci (click here to view original photo from Vogue.com, taken by Leslie Kirchhoff)
All I can say is WOW! Looks like she has her killer bod back! This super sheer number leaves little to the imagination. I’m not a huge fan of the ombré feather train, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s B.
Super-sexy-songstress Rihanna in Tom Ford (click here to view original photo from Vogue.com, taken by Larry Busacca/Getty Images)
I’m a bit biased for this one, because there’s nothing I love more than leather anything. So the crocodile floor-length number was naturally extra appealing to me, especially on Rihanna’s figure.

OK, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t all together understand the head-piece/turban. But the dress itself I think is gorgeous. It hugs her in all the right places, and it sparkles. What more could a girl want?!
